Im new to building amps but want to remove the mystique about it by just dive into the deep end of the pool. I do know a bit about electronics and soldering etc, and am eager to learn about the various stages in a tube amp.
My first build was the Tube Town JTM45 clone.
Finally got time and opportunity to record sound clips for the JTM45 clone. Head over to Sound Clips. I used a TwoNotes Captor to eliminate any bad mic placement from my side. Used IRs from OwHammer. The core tone did not change drastically when browsing through the IRs.
