JTM45 board components explained

While reading about different mods people will of course refer to the function of components instead of how they are marked in a specific layout.

Here is the components explained in the TT JTM45 layout

 

Lets start from the right, where also the signal begins.

R7: V1A cathode resistor
C1: V1A cathode capacitor / bypass
R1, R2: Normal channel input resistors / V1A grid stoppers
C2: V1A plate bypass capacitor
R4,R5: Bright channel input resistors / V1B grid stoppers
R8: V1A plate resistor
R9: V1B plate resistor
C3: V1B plate bypass capacitor
C4: Bright capacitor. See top image (on bright channel/volume I potentiometer)
R10: Normal channel mix resistor
R11: Bright channel mix resistor
C5: Bright channel mix capacitor
R13: V2A cathode resistor
R14: V2B cathode resistor
C6: Tone stack treble capacitor
